Prawns Tempura

Video: TEMPURA PRAWNS - VIDEO RECIPE

 Ingredients:

3/4 cup (115g) plain flour
1/4 cup (35g) cornflour
Pinch of bicarbonate of soda
1 egg, lightly whisked
1 cup (250ml) soda water, chilled
Vegetable oil, to deep-fry
300g prawns, peeled, deveined, leaving tails intact
salt and pepper to season
